Reporting to our Inventory & Customer Service Manager this role ensures that sales orders are promptly and accurately processed while delivering an excellent customer experience. Working closely with our sales teams and warehouse as well as external customers to ensure orders are delivered on time in full. The successful candidate will be someone who strives for excellence and ensures our customers have a fantastic experience.
Day to day duties of the role will include:
Timely and accurate processing of sales orders within deadlines and Service Level Agreements
Confirm bookings and schedule appointments.
Respond to customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders' requests and queries via various mediums (calls, email, chats) in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and problem solve including but limited to collection and delivery issues, claims, and returns cases and missed deliveries.
Monitoring state-based stock transfers and levels
About You
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in customer service and order processing, ideally with exposure to a logistics/transport environment. Possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to learn processes quickly and are comfortable navigating across multiple platforms at one time. Experience with a CRM system (SAP) is advantageous though not essential as well as basic/intermediate computer skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and customer expectations through effective communication will be essential to success.
