Health, Safety & Environment Officer
We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Environment Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Quality & Environment Manager and various departments to support, maintain, and drive continuous improvement across our internal management systems, accreditations and licences.
Key responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify and manage Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety risks
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including Science Based Targets records
- Ensure compliance with internal management systems and licences
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Conducting internal audits and assist with external audits where applicable
- Facilitate, and contribute to the Taylor Safe and Emergency Control Committees
About You:
You’re a proactive and positive team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Ideally, you bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
- Strong understanding and commitment to Food Safety, Environmental, and WHS legislation, regulations, standards and best practices.
- Relevant qualifications in auditing, incident investigation, or injury management (highly desirable).
- The ability to build strong relationships across all departments and levels on site.
- A solutions-focused mindset, with a drive for continuous improvement and successful accreditation outcomes
