About Us:
For three generations the Taylor family have crafted great Australian wines in the Clare Valley, South Australia.
We understand that truly great wines are made in the vineyard and that the art of fine winemaking is to respect and capture the essence of the vineyard site and to highlight the unique varietal expression of each grape variety.
The Role:
Our Winery Cellar Hands contribute to the production of high-quality wines for bottling by undertaking the various day to day cellar operations in a safe and efficient manner. Some of the key operational tasks include barrel operations, cellar hygiene, vintage processing, additions and transfer operations.
What you bring to the Role:
We are seeking motivated and hardworking Cellar Hands to join our winery team. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about winemaking, enjoys hands-on work, and is eager to contribute to all aspects of cellar operations and ideally will exhibit the following skills/attributes:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various internal team members
Commitment to quality and workplace safety
Positive attitude and a team orientated mindset
Able to work flexible hours to meet our seasonal & operational demands
Possesses good numeracy & literacy skills and strong attention to detail
Cellar experience (desirable but not essential)
Holds a current HRW Forklift Licence (desirable)
Willing to undertake training as per company requirements
