Warehouse Forklift Operator/Store Person

About Us:
For three generations the Taylor family have crafted great Australian wines in the Clare Valley, South Australia. We understand that truly great wines are made in the vineyard, and that the art of fine winemaking is to respect and capture the essence of the vineyard site and to highlight the unique varietal expression of each grape variety.
The Role:
Due to operational changes, we are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator/Store person to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently move, stack, store, and manage inventory. Your ability to work accurately and uphold safety standards is key to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods, including dry stock and other supplies
- Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods for both domestic and export markets.
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
- Store finished products and dry goods in designated warehouse location
- Perform general forklift duties and support warehouse operations as needed
What you bring to the Role:
We are looking for a positive proactive team member with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality, safety and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Current HRW licence (Forklift) demonstrated forklift operating experience
- Previous experience in warehouse and logistic operations (essential)
- A strong focus on safety and quality practices with high attention to detail
- Organisational and time management skills to meet both production timelines & customer expectations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with internal & external customers
- The ability to work as part of a team and can work flexible hours to meet our operational demands
