Human Resources Administrator

Part-Time | 2–3 Days per Week | Alexandria, Sydney

About Us

At Taylors Wines, great wine starts with great people.

For three generations, our family-owned business has been crafting award-winning Australian wines in the Clare Valley, South Australia. We're proud of our heritage, passionate about what we do and focused on building an even stronger future.

We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and people-focused HR Administrator to join our team and help us deliver a great employee experience across our business.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping our day-to-day HR operations running smoothly. Working primarily with our Head Office and national Sales teams, with exposure to our Winery operations, you'll support a broad range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to training, employee engagement and offboarding. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days will be quite the same. You'll have the opportunity to build your HR knowledge, take ownership of administrative processes and contribute ideas to improve how we support our people.

Whether you're starting your HR career or looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity to put your existing skills to good use, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, prepare employment documentation and support day-to-day HR processes.
  • HR Systems: Keep our HR systems and employee information up to date, ensuring accuracy and a positive user experience.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate job advertisements, interviews, reference checks and onboarding activities to create a positive candidate and employee experience.
  • Employee Support: Respond to general HR enquiries and assist employees and managers with HR processes, policies and systems.
  • Learning & Development: Coordinate training sessions, maintain training records and support employee development activities.
  • Employee Engagement: Help organise initiatives that strengthen our workplace culture and bring our RIPPIR company values to life.
  • Policies & Procedures: Assist with maintaining, reviewing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Fleet Administration: Coordinate administrative activities relating to our company vehicle fleet.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and make HR easier for our people.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in keeping things organised.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • High attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and an ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, along with familiarity with HR systems, would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in supporting our people.

What's On Offer

  • A flexible, part-time opportunity working 2–3 days per week.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Genuine hybrid working arrangements.
  • Ongoing training, development and coaching.
  • Generous employee discounts across our full wine range and access to pre-release tastings.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program, including counselling, financial advice and legal support.
  • The opportunity to gain broad HR experience in an established, family-owned Australian business.
